I am praying for your child, Thich Nhat Hanh, who is very ill today, suffering a stroke.
I know you are waiting to receive him in your good time, however that works.
I am grateful for his gifts to our world.
I pray for friends in sorrow, and those in joy (shield the joyous, God!)
I pray for those who are ill in so many ways
and for my sinus infection, very small in the scheme of things
but certainly diminishing my capacities.
May we be aware of your presence, your strength, your willingness to lend those to us
when we haven’t enough of our own.
I am grateful.
We are grateful.
