The first Wednesday Festival of March is short – mostly because I am writing this as I watch the results of Super Tuesday in the United States, specifically in Texas. In the midst of the crazy political events, I went looking through the blogs for real – real hope, real joy, real inspiration. Here are three I found. Please feel free to add a link to your blog in the comments if I missed a post that you particularly want to share with others.

“Our granddaughter woke up well before we were ready to get breakfast, but she quite happily sat in her bed with an armful of books. Two and a half is a wonderful age, so full with curiosity, and grace, and joy.” Derek at Life, Gratitude, Faith and Passion

“When we take a few moments each day to make notes on our activities or our state of mind, we can begin to notice patterns that help us understand ourselves better and point to potential changes.” Laura Stephens-Reed

“Instead may each of us spend time caring for our souls and searching for the divine that lives inside of us.” Kathy at Inspiration

So that second link from Laura may be more about trying to grasp control of something. Maybe that’s just my issue, but I find comfort there also. May your March be blessed as Lent and the political process in the United States continues.
