What are you called to do with your life?  Is there a ‘right way’ to do it?  This week some of our RevGals and Pals are writing about their vocations and spiritual practices.

Joanna wrestles with the shoulds, and reflects on what she learnt from moving to the country, and then back into town.

Mihee writes about seeking peace and a life of wholeheartedness – inspired by the life of the St Margarets and in her own context which includes being a mother and the effects of post-partum depression.

Jennifer discovers a new phrase to describe her vocation: exposing goodness.

If you see someone drawing while you’re preaching, perhaps they are taking a leaf from Kristin’s book – she shares her experience of spiritual journalling during a sermon.

And if you are in need of encouragement, if you’ve lost hope or lost your way, Rachel’s prayer is for you.

  1. Great selections! I’ve already sent the post on journaling during sermons to our CE director, who likes to take notes herself, and assigns the confirmation class a required number of sermon notes during the year. This might be an option which the kids would actually complete!

We hope you'll join the conversation!
