I’ll be honest, God.
Today doesn’t feel like a praying kind of day,
it feels like a “whack-a-mole” kind of day.
I know you know what I mean, Lord.
It seems that everyone around is imploding for the small stuff, forgetting the Big Stuff, not listening deeply, but impatiently waiting their turn to rant.
Sometimes, I just want to slap some fingers.
Just being honest, here.
I need your loving and truthful patience, Lord,
to infuse my heart and brain.
I need your expansive love that understands and accepts, without condition.
I need your humor, to give me delight.
I need your strength and insight, to know when to draw a caring line.
I need You, oh! how I need You.
