Darling one,
I used to pray
that you would know
that you are loved.
But over these years of loving you,
I have learned…
There is a difference between knowing you are loved and accepting that love.
So now I pray,
and pray,
and pray,
that you will find a way
to accept love.
To accept the love that your Creator created just for you.
To accept that you are so very loved,
by God,
and by the community that God called together
to love you.
More than you can imagine.
More than you can know.
Amen.
