This is the path. You know it ends in Me,
but you do not know what it will be like on the way.
Know that I will be with you, every step.
I was sitting with my mom in the hospital last night after some falls. Things are okay for now. She is confused because of medications and worried because she doesn’t know how things are going to unfold. But she knows for sure that Jesus is at the end.
My deepest prayer is song. Many times in prayer a song will occur to me and singing it affords great peace. Last night, the song I sang her is a version of Joshua 1:9. The chorus goes:
“Only be strong, and of good courage,
Be not frightened, neither be dismayed,
For the Lord your God is with you,
Wherever you may go.”
I’m praying this for you all today.
