For those whose infants are in the NICU, we pray…
For those who need dialysis, we pray…
For families who hope to hear from the one wandering, we pray…
For those on deployment, we pray…
For those celebrating in secret, we pray…
For those who have decided to speak their truth, we pray…
For those whose work continues without respite, we pray…
For shift workers who must cover this weekend and all others, we pray…
For preachers torn between sermons of grief and sermons of joy, we pray…
For families who make the switch off between houses, we pray…
For children who try to be invisible during the fights, we pray…
For those who wrestle with addictions, we pray…
For those crouching in ruins in Aleppo, we pray…
For those who will go to shelters to feed dogs and cats, we pray…
For the animals whose lives are lived in feedlots and enclosures, we pray…
For those who are rightfully afraid of political changes, we pray…
For those who attend the dying, we pray…
For families who cannot make decisions about elder care, we pray…
For introverts- already tired by anticipating interactions, we pray…
For extroverts- who worry about going too far, we pray…
For those who are moving and have deadlines, we pray…
For those who sleep in the cold, we pray…
For these and all others, Lord, we pray…
Have mercy. Have mercy. Have mercy.
