The church year rolls on, and the government, the world, other people continue to do their things,
and there are the daily, weekly things that we do because we are accustomed to them.
Let us not forget, amidst pancakes today and ashes tomorrow (if that’s how we roll)
that while annual remembrances are important,
We need to stay woke and active each and every day.
Transfiguration reminds us of a mystical Cloud of Unknowing where we meet the mysteries of You.
Help us also to stay in the quotidian.
Help us to be your people in the world today.
