We would like to continue discussing books that raise awareness of racism and other forms of prejudice and oppression, including religious bias. We are looking for both recommendations and volunteers to write for this feature. Book discussions will now be monthly on the 4th Wednesday, with a full book up for discussion each time. Books have been chosen for April and May; we would love to hear your ideas for future books in the comments.

April 26 – Threading My Prayer Rug: One Woman’s Journey from Pakistani Muslim to American Muslim, by Sabeeha Rehman

May 24 – An Introduction to Womanist Biblical Interpretation, by Nyasha Junior
