Gentle one, our days are fraught with imbalance as we dodge the potholes on the path of faith. You forged that path built of courage and truth, and walked it humbly, even to death. Take our hand as we navigate our journey with you this week. Encourage us to trust you when you hold us back from rushing headlong into self-righteousness, and urge us forward against our own inclinations to retreat in fear. Help us listen to the echo of your footsteps in our hearts, that we may be guided on the way by the power of your love and the truth of your word.
