We see you as you go before us.
We touch you as the ground beneath us.
We hold you as the wound between us.
We greet you as the peace within us.

Jesus our brother, Christ our savior,
We believe in you and in your resurrection
… most of the time. Help our unbelief,
for life is abundant and creative and
surprising, but we have unfaithfully limited
our understanding to death and cynicism.

Show us life where there is fullness of joy,
and we will make it our breath and our work.
Show us hope with possibility and clarity,
and it will be our guide and our salvation.
Show us faith that burns and opens hearts,
and we will give you ours over and again.

We see you as you go before us.
We touch you as the ground beneath us.
We hold you as the wound between us.
We greet you as the peace within us.

Our Lord and our God!
