I stand before you, Lord,
uncertain of the day ahead
despite my calendar packed full
with appointments, reminders and tasks.
There are many around me
with questions and fears,
anger and disappointments,
frustrations and dreams…
and if you would want me
to walk humbly with these folks,
I ask that you fill me
with your love, your grace, your mercy…
and remind me not to wade in
unless you guide me.
Amen
