There’s a meme going around that jellyfish have lived for millions of years because they have no brain, the conclusion of this, o holy one, is that there is hope for humanity.

I actually see the opposite.

Why did you give us all this capacity? Is it the tradeoff for love? Jesus taught us to consider the Ravens and the flowers.

Do they feel? Do they love? Do they live for more than worldly pleasure?

The capacity you gave us for such amazing creation also has a balance of ultimate destruction.

Thus by the grace of God?

Im confused. Really. There’s so much pain, struggle and disheartening meanness. Is this what you had in mind?

I think not.

Today I pray for the capacity of evil, may we, in every way work to irradiate the hate, division, and self before else attitude we embrace.

Come Lord Jesus, seriously, we need you. Amen
