Pentecost Pulpit Fall Earlston Church

Holy Fire
Holy Breath
Holy Dove

Blessed Parent
Blessed Friend
Blessed Comfort

Precious One
Holy One
Beloved One

Pentecost – came and stayed…
Pentecost happened once, for all, for ever…
Pour down O Holy Spirit
into the hearts of all who call
Pour down O Holy Spirit
into our hearts today
Pour down O Holy Spirit
into the hardened hearts; the deafened ears; the sightless eyes
of those who resist, refuse, deny and so inspire them too

O Precious Holy One
remind us
We ARE Pentecost People
Yesterday, Today, Forever
Come fill us and fit us for the work we are called to
This day
and always
