Breath of Life, who woke us up this morning,

teach us today, we pray,

that every breath is full of your presence.

The sharp gasp of awe,

the long sigh of grief,

the puff of exasperation,

the shallow breath of fear,

all contain you.

With each breath in and each push out,

may we be called back to your presence,

and the reminder that we live inside your Spirit,

and your sacred breath lives in us.

In thanksgiving we pray, Amen.
