We come to you now,
With open eyes mirroring our souls.
We are grateful that you see us.
We are thankful that you love us.
We are stunned that you use us.
in spite of all we are and are not.
May we be open to the suffering of others.
May we see the ways in which the favor we experience
might be a source of pain for others.
May we be grateful for all that we have, but also be willing to give beyond what we think is possible.
Open our eyes to see this world as you see it:
We offer the prayers that are deep in our souls:
For those who are grieving, and experience betrayal…..
For those we know are sad, stressed, and end of the line…
For those we know are suffering and struggling…
We pray for healing.
We pray for growth.
We pray for peace. And understanding.
Help us to see your world with Your eyes.
Help us to see the souls around us through their holy eyes.
For love’s sake we pray,
