O Holy One,
There are days
that I wonder
“Is there good in the world?”
because it feels
so evil
and dark.
So… hopeless.
Greed, anger, selfishness,
misogyny, homophobia,
prejudice and lying…
But you, Holy One,
are good and gracious,
holy and Light Eternal.
You stretch us, encourage us,
and remind us
to look for signs of the Divine
all around us.
And there you are.
Hallelujah!
Amen and amen!
