Dear God-

I am well aware of how you spoke to Job.

I know the words of your Son.

i have listened to your prophets and I have listened to those who have pimped the name of the Christ.

All that being said, I’m still frustrated. I’m still crying. I’m still fist-shaking, gasping, IMG_5687head-scratching, foot-stomping, object-throwing aggrieved at the way You are exercising the divine prerogative.

I know that when I’m hoping for a little more smiting, I may well be in the path.

Yet… where is Your peace?

Where is your mercy?

What are in Your Name are you waiting for?

I’m beyond asking “how long”?

Are You watching? Are You weeping?

Are You happy?

Can You still look and declare “it is good”?

I trust, God. Forgive my mistrust.

They have grown together and I cannot separate them.

Can you?

Will you?
