Like our ancestors’ ancestors’ ancestors did, we bring the green indoors.
For those buried in snow and ice, may the green be a reminder of your warmth and new life, Holy One.
For those surrounded by fire, may your green be cool refreshment, Holy One.
For those stuck indoors, looking out with longing, may your green be a connection with all creation, Holy One.
We bring in the green this time of year for so many reasons, Holy One. Bless us all we pray. Amen.
