Lord,
For long lies and pj days, thank you.
For full churches over Christmas and small gatherings, thank you.
For stuffed bellies and empty chocolate wrappers, thank you.
For noisy family filled homes and for quiet, peaceful ones too, thank you.
For the Christ Child, for hope, peace, love and joy, thank you.
So many reasons for thankfulness. Thank you.
Be with those of our community who are exhausted and with those who are elated.
Be with those of our community hurting and with those who are rejoicing.
Be with those of our community who are sick and with those have been out for their morning run.
Be with those of our community spending the day alone and with those who are having brunch cooked for them.
Be with those of our community worrying about the future and with those excited about the possibilities.
Lord of us all,
Bless this time whatever and wherever we are.
Amen

I would like to post this, but can someone correct the first line – “for long lines and pj days” instead of “long lies”? (LOL) Thank you!

Ok now confused. I meant long lies, and that’s what it says and I didn’t edit….

I think the United States colloquialism would be long lie-ins (for sleeping in) long lies would be untruths that take more space than a tweet.
