Holy God,

We thank you for our sister Brigid,
and for all who those who have loved you
and gone ahead of us.

Make us, like her, holy.
Strengthen in us your compassion.
By your Spirit may we grow
in wise kindness
and kind wisdom.

We pray with all our sisters through the ages,
and in the name of Jesus.
