I sat on a bench on a cold winter day, looking up at a brilliant winter sky, and a tree, stripped of its leaves, with the promise of Spring deep in its branches, swayed in the winter wind. This prayer bubbled up inside me… may it remind you of the faithfulness of God, that in winter’s stillness and in times of silence, our unchanging God is there.
