God, you have filled my life with a variety of adventures.
Today I give thanks for the anniversary of my ordination. Through the long journey heading towards that occasion – from oral exams to ordination papers – we grew stronger together.
Since that day, you’ve been my Divine Walking Stick during the times when needing support. You’ve been my Holy Backpack of Wisdom when searching for the best answer. You’ve been my Sacred Water Bottle holding refreshment needed in arid and wearing spaces.
May I look towards you as we step into the future. May my eyes see the path that you recommend for me. May we continue on our journey seeking justice and peace for all.
Amen.
