God of great mystery-IMG_6350

Across this planet, there are two white rhinos who are the last of their species,

Coral slowing draining of color,

Embryos that are not yet known to their hosts,

Final breaths taken in peace,

Pounding hearts hidden in chests that try to remain unseen,

Slips of paper communication left in agreed upon locations,

Seeds splitting open so that the shoot may come forth,

Birthday parties for centenarians,

Funerals for toddlers,

Healing rains falling on furrowed fields,

Dry heat oppressing withering stalks,

And all of this is known to you.

As am I.
