God who birthed the Pentecost Breath of Change,
May your winds of peace clash drive away the cruel gusts
Encircling your world with peace.
But may your gales wobble us a bit
Causing us to focus on ensuring balance in our world.
Fierce Winds of the Spirit,
As your squalls encounter the chaos of the world below
May you sweep aside oppression,
May you toss hatred,
And may you drive the powers-that-be to act.
May your children tossed aside by turbulence finally know calm breezes from you.
Abide with us as we see pieces of our world falling apart
And may your renewing winds breathe life into creation again.
