Dear God,IMG_0070
There are less than three hours left
of my Thursday,
but as the earth turns
and the sun rises on the horizon
over and over and over again,
RevGals and Pals all over the world
will begin their day, their Thursday.

My day included conversations about:
resources for reading the Bible,
the power and control wheel,
ecumenism,
gluten-free communion wafers,
and all kinds of other things.

Whatever this day holds for my colleagues in ministry,
I ask for your blessing upon them:
a blessing of wisdom,
a blessing of patience,
a blessing of imagination,
a blessing of perseverance.

Whatever it is it we need this day,
may we look to you,
Source and Sustainer.

Amen.
