In one corner of the world,
The day is waning….
The sun, dips,
The shadows lengthen,
And evening draws to night.

Around the world, someone sleeps, and another wakes
In every hour, or every day
People pray, calling on God, our Parent, our Friend, our Wisdom.

Precious Holy,
Rising and setting
Waking and sleeping
Busy and quiet
Whatever and wherever we are,
you are also,

We offer you this Monday,
As it is, and as it was,
Always yours,
Amen
