God who understands all of our emotions…
I know what Scripture says: “Do not let the sun go down on your anger.” For some reason, though, the frustration of the day continued to burn past midnight and lingered well past dawn. I woke feeling anger’s soulache.
God, I’m truly sorry for the anger with which I didn’t wrestle last night. I’m sorry for the extra cake and buttercream icing that smothered my feelings.
May I address my feelings today before the sunset ends the day. May tonight’s eve arrive to an energy of peace.
Amen.
