We are mother and daughter, siblings and friends.
We gathered at the table for a meal and for laughter,
With our joys shared and our worries halved.
We are co-laborers, dreamers, wonderers and wanderers.
We need each other, Breather of Hope,
Oh, how much we need each other!
When we face discouragement or distrust,
When we are unjustly criticized or accused,
When we celebrate joys and new gains,
When we see a new vision of your work through us,
Wrap us in your arms of Love and Compassion
As we shout for joy or weep angry tears of betrayal.
You go before, behind and are all around us.
Thank you, Divine Guide and Friend!
