I am trying to pray here.
The cat is kneading the pillow upon which my laptop rests.
Rain is sloshing outside, while I wait for the plumber to come and tell me how to fix the groundwater coming up in my basement.
I have GOT to reschedule my dental appointment befor——————-whoops! plumber here, dogs going bonkers.
Please, I am TRYING to pray here!
Okay, did you know that if you put those clorox tabs into your toilet tank they eat away the rubber stopper, causing it not work? Just a friendly PSA in the middle of praying.
God, I know this is not much of a prayer and yet it is so much of me–all of the small stuff that is just ordinary everyday in the midst of what I miss~~
All Your Glory shining around and within,
swirling in the muddy puddles,
burnishing the lazy breeze with All Your Beauty.
and Your Passion.
I am trying to pray here, and now,
You have just prayed for me.
