Precious One
Thank you!!!

In and amongst all of the difficulties and traumas
the anger and outrage
the heart break and sorrow
the incredulity that pervades our minds…
There are moments of joy!
Sheer joy and laughter
Friends
Loved ones
Cherished moments we share
Precious memories we make

So that when we are in darkness
and light seems to be a distant memory
We are able to lift ourselves up and out,
remembering that each and every one
is your beloved child

Beloved
Child of
God
Beloved…

Light and Life
Love and Laughter
Hope eternal

When your lap is not quite big enough!!

Lift us
Empower us
Strengthen us
Give us voices
Grant us Peace

And help us, to be in the moment…

This moment
this day
Amen

Picture of a moment of joy!

  1. Thank you for your Monday prayer, Julie. It touched my heart and felt like God sent it for our family. My grandson died of a drug overdose last week, his funeral was Sunday afternoon. As a family we are exhausted and still reeling from his death. One of Joe’s gifts was being a light for others. We had candles for the guests at the funeral.Thank you.
