God.
I am angry.
I am raging.
I am hurting.
My head feels like it is going to explode,
and my heart is on fire.
I know I am not the only one.
I am not praying to take away the anger and the rage.
I am asking, however, if you could hold it for me for a few hours,
to keep it safe and sacred, and honored.
If you hold it, then I can move on to other things that ministry is calling me to be and do today.
Afterwards,
I’ll be back to embrace my lament and fury.
Thank you.
Amen.
