On this Tuesday morning, I feel beaten and broken, and worn thin from the non-stop struggle of working for justice and to minimize the damage being done by those who believe that justice is only for a select few and not for all. I also believe that WE were made times like these. That God has called us to these times for this work. However, to persevere, to persist, to continue, one occasionally needs to rest. To dwell in a moment of silence. To be still and present to the small voice of God urging us to remember that our good work is not in vain. Because all things (eventually) work out as God intends. Remembering Julian of Norwich:
All will be well, all will be well, in all manner of things, all will be well.
For this Tuesday prayer, take a moment in silence.
And remember that God is here.
