wet fall leaves…

Holy One,
Today my heart and soul are bursting with gratefulness.
My mind is singing of the fulness of You, in me, around me, above me and beneath me.

I delight in the nuzzle of a friends’s shy dog,
I relish the centered feel of the steaming mug of dark roast coffee between my palms.
I rejoice that the concoction I put together for dinner without a recipe actually is edible!

What wonders You bring forth in the very ordinary of days,
the blessedness of a good book finished,
the joy of a fun visit with someone on the sidewalk downtown,
the sheer miracle of connections.

I praise You! I love You!  Thank you! Amen!
