Dear God,

WM.18
Taken by MPB at the 2018 Women’s March in Chicago

It is hump day.

And these days – every day seems like we are facing hills to climb, sooo many humps to get over.

It is exhausting. Sooo exhausting.

Yet, You stand behind us to keep us from falling; You gently nudge us forward.

You stand before us cheering us on; lovingly calling us by name.

You move beside us, holding our hand; embracing us as we lean on You.

And for this, dear God, we give thanks; today and every day.

As we keep going with fire and joy…

Amen.
