Morning view from my hazy window

Good morning Wednesday,
Thank you for meeting me here,
for giving me good chunks of sleep in the midst of some restlessness,
and for the blessing of some brief holy quiet before whatever will meet me in this day.

Good morning Eternal Love,
Who scoops us all up in tender embrace,
Holding us, reminding us that even when we don’t feel worthy or up to the task or wistful, that it is o.k.   You know we are your Beloved.  No matter what.

Good morning  Blazing Courage,
Could you drip some of that upon my heart and soul?

Good morning Stubborn Hope,
I pray you might infuse my day with You.

So many more good mornings and prayers
in the depth of my being, that I have not the words or images…
but you, O Mother Spirit, are praying them for me.

My Lord, what a morning.
