O Holy One,
I see you in the season’s turning.
The length of days,
the migrating flocks,
the tasks in my garden,
the rhythm of the Church year.

In the whirlwind,
I get distracted.
My intentions float away
like the blossoms loosened from the tree.
But
just a breath,
and once again
I see your Presence and power.

In all of my planning and searching
for what is just
and what is right and true,
I forget
the Source of power
within me.
But
just a breath,
and you are close as my prayer.

Just a breath,
and you are there.

Thank you.
Amen.
