It should be
But Dear God,
When else would those committee meetings happen? The shopping get done? The chores untouched during the week? Those final worship tasks and sermon tweaks?
Is it okay God, if for some of us it is not “a day”? But, perhaps Sabbath is found in moments? Intentional time set aside to breathe, dream, sit still, go for a slow walk or run (away even for an afternoon), exhale, do nothing…be…?
I hope so.
And as we figure it out and find the rhythm that allows us to live our best lives in sync with Your desire for us, may we find Sabbath in Your grace and ground each moment in Your love, O God.
Amen and ¡Gracias!
