Comforting One, who bolsters us as we tumble between triumph and defeat, draw us near to your sustaining grace and love. Open the eyes and ears of our being to receive the fullness of your mystery, that we may yield to is transforming power. As we journey through the disorienting events that pierce the hope of the world and the yearning of our hearts, scatter the seeds of redemption across the landscape of our days. We long for the blooms that spring from desolation, the promise of your glory and the fulfillment of the prophets. May we hold fast to the light that vanquishes darkness and unveils joy, for the sake of love. Amen.
