Blessed Guide, who meets us at the door of all things: grant us discerning hearts to recognize the opportunities before us.
There are times to welcome the world we encounter at our doorstep, and greet each friend and stranger into our midst.
There are times to cross the threshold of adventure and risk, and join the world in its joys and troubles.
There are times to close the door on situations and persons whose presence in our lives serve us not.
There are times to retreat and regroup, to tend and to mend, as we draw strength from the light cast by your love.
Grant us courage as we seek the path opened by the journey that led to, and springs forth, from the cross. For it is there that you meet us and greet us, and show us the way. Amen.
