O Precious One,
Monday morning comes again… Is this my Sabbath?
Is this your day with me?

When work presses in, disturbing Holy rest…
help me create spaces for you

When life presses in, overwhelming with busyness and tasks,
and family, and lists,
and emails, and people, and needs of others,
and needs of me…
help me pause…. p a u s e. . . p. a. u. s. e. . . . . .

For sisters and brothers who seek holy rest today, we pray
For sisters and brothers who work and serve today, we pray
For sisters and brothers who face challenges unforeseen today, we pray
For sisters and brothers around the world, who wake, and work, and talk, and move at a different time and pace today, we pray

Precious Holy, hear our prayers today. Amen
