Precious One
I am tired
bone weary
exhausted
done in
worn out
fatigued
Tired
So much busy, busy
Not enough rest, calm
And yet.
To have expended the energy
To do the work
To celebrate the joy
To enjoy the journey
To experience the life
Is a Good Thing, because
Sometimes it brings good tiredness
Thank you preicous One for the celebrations of joy and love
Thank you for the work you call us to do
Thank you for the sleep that comes
Thank you even – for those days when sleep does not come…
As we walk through this journey with you, may we know your presence and guiding, and may we experience holy rest and a blessed awakening
today, and always
Amen
