Spirit if God who hovered over the earth at the dawn of creation-
Our environment is standing up to us. Python-like teeth of tornadoes are ripping into buildings. Waters keep rising as floods steal lands, massacre plant life, and leave our neighbors without homes.
And yet, we keep living as if we make no impact. If it didn’t affect us, we can’t see it’s torment. Does it really matter??!??
We have forgotten that our lives our intertwined with creation.
Holy Creator, transform our lives. Transform our minds. Transform our hearts. Our world won’t survive without our repentance, without us turning ourselves around.
Amen.
