Saturday Prayer: God of Holy Spirit Power

God of Holy Spirit power,

We bear the weight of the tasks that are before us
and the tasks that are beyond us.
We grieve the pain of those who suffer within our circles
and those who suffer beyond our sphere.
We feel our anger over the injustices we can address
and the injustices beyond our reach.

We claim your power and your wisdom
to do our tasks, comfort our sufferers, fight our injustices.
And we pray your power for others
Doing the tasks that are beyond us,
Healing the suffering outside our spheres,
Fighting the injustices we cannot touch.

God of Holy Spirit power,
We pray your Presence
And your Peace.
For ourselves.
For our world.
Amen.
