This is a repeat prayer, but it is working for me today, because it is all of where I am at…..maybe some of you are there, too.

Well, there you go, Holy All,  I almost forgot.
It’s better late than never to pray, right?
So, here You are. With me, wherever and however I am.
Sometimes, I don’t even know what praying is.
Especially when there is so much to pray for, all of the feelings, all of the injustices, all of the news, all of the everything.
Everyday, there is more of everything.
I guess the point is,
I can’t do anything about the everything, and praying reminds me
to simply
breathe in the peace of this evening,
listen to the goodnight songs of the birds in the trees,
drink in the simple hues of the sun fading behind the mountains,
and know that You are here. In me, around me, holding me, centering me.
