God, grant me the passion to rise up against evil
the will to live each day in joyful resistance
and the compassion to see You—
♥in the face of every immigrant
♥in every Black body
♥in each Trans sibling
—Even when no one else understands
even when it makes others uncomfortable
especially when doubt and fear rise up within me
Amen. Ashé. Selah.
