Expressive God-
You must make faces at us as we wrestle with this life.  Do you give us a side eye glare as we make biased comments?  Do you shake your head when we walk away from a call?  Do you facepalm us as you facepalmed the disciples when they ran away from Jesus and neglected their work for justice?

No matter our records and no matter how many times you’ve raised your eyebrows at our actions, you lovingly shake your head and then embrace us.   This is what grace is.  Allow us to grasp this grace and improve our presence on this side of heaven.  May Divine courage and strength fill our souls with bravery and lead us to bold behaviors.   Amen.
