In this space,
We turn to You, Holy Seeker.
We are grateful for your Persistence that will not stop until you find us in all of our lostness.
We are blessed that you understand all of we are,
people of full abundance and people of regret.
We are thankful for all the points of goodness in our lives,
and we offer our gratitudes this morning,
aloud and in our hearts….
(time for gratitudes)
We know You So Love this World,
that you will never tolerate anything that keeps anyone or anyplace from that Love. Our concerns are your concerns, and so we offer our cares for for people, places and situations to you, aloud and in our hearts…
(time for concerns)
We pray that we would live in the Love you have for this creation. Make of us a searching, stretching people, seeking people and places that are so lost and desolate that no one would expect Love to show up. Move us to show up with the presence of Love.
Make us your brave followers,
who live loudly, wholly, completely
in your mercy and grace.
Give us the kind of compassion and authority
we need to cast out the demons of this world~~
fear and loneliness,
injustice and war,
poverty and racism and xenophobism and incivility and beyond.
We pray this prayer for Love’s sake,
Amen.
