From the rising of the sun
to the setting of the moon,
may we remember
all the glory,
all the blessing,
all the gifts,
all the splendor
of Love spilled out upon us,
Splashing abundantly
over and through our living.
From the rising of the sun
to the setting of the moon,
may we remember
all the lost,
all the oppressed,
all the lonely,
all the enemies,
all the hate and hurt and evil
soaking in this living time.
O Holy Sun! O Holy Moon! O Holy Love!
May we spill your light, your luminescence, your heart
into every sad crevasse and broken place and unjust system
we encounter and seek out
in the living of these times.
Amen.
