We are all champions.
In God’s economy there are no losers, no less-thans, or can’t-haves.
When we drop our respective balls, or miss a connection, when we stop short of an intended destination or our goals are thwarted, we are still entwined in the warp and weft of divine love.
When lackluster stares fail to enfold us in sweeping glances we are not invisible to the holy of holies.
When the sublime is sought the brilliance of our imperfection is all that is needed to coax a divine smile.
When hearts are disappointed and expectations are too high, our presence delights the One who cherishes each breath we take and each song we make.
When nothing works and emptiness stretches beyond our grasp, the fullness of love infuses the web that is our life.
Because we are.
Because God is.
We all win.
